Tallman is growing up! He's wanted to be able to mow for years, but I insisted on his waiting until he was 12. Well, now he's 12, and the mowing job is his for the summer, and he's delighted! So is Dad. LOL

LOL, isn't that funny how our children want to use the lawn mower! i have one that wants to use my sewing machine. i wished they wanted to use the dishwasher, LOL.
I am a home-educating mother of three sons, wife to a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, inveterate bookworm. I love faith, family, food, reading, poetry, birds, flowers, scrapbooking, and, oh, did I mention reading? My sons grow too fast, read, make a lot of noise, keep snakes and hamsters, and build elaborate structures with everything from popsicle sticks to electronics components.

I had to wait until I was 12 too. Things are different on a farm, though. Eve, 10, gets to learn how to rake the hay in a big tractor this year.
